Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. 8 oz. macaroni
  • 2 c. grated cheese
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper

Step by step

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Cook macaroni.
  • In a 1 1/2 qt. baking dish, alternate macaroni and cheese.
  • To prepare the sauce, melt butter, blend in flour, stir in milk and then seasoning. No lumps allowed!
  • Bring sauce to a boil, stirring.
  • Pour sauce into baking dish, covering well.
  • Bake 15-20 minutes or until browned.
