Bread Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of bread
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • minced onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • poultry seasoning

Step by step

  • Tear the loaf of bread into small pieces and allow to dry overnight until hard.
  • Reserving bread, melt butter in large pan with all other ingredients.
  • Once the butter is melted, turn off heat and add bread, stirring until envenly moist.
  • Stuff turkey, or heat in casserole dish for 30-45 minutes at 350°F. If cooking in dish, uncover for last 10-15 minutes to allow for browning and crisping.
