Cavatelli and Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 6-10 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. margarine
  • 2 bunches broccoli
  • 8 oz. fat free chicken broth
  • 1 pkg. frozen cavatelli (16 oz.)
  • parsley
  • basil
  • 1/4 c. parmesan cheese

Step by step

  • In a large skillet, sauté garlic, oil and margarine.
  • When margarine is melted, add broccoli and then chicken broth.
  • Cook at medium to high heat.
  • At the same time, add cavatelli to boiling water, cooking until al dente.
  • Mix the two together, and then add parsley, basil and cheese.
