Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Step by step
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.
- Beat butter, sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl.
- Add eggs one at a time.
- Gradually beat in flour mixture.
- Stir in chips.
- Drop onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let stand 2 minutes, and cool on racks completely.
- Yields 5 dozen.
