Macaroni Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. prepared or dry mustard
  • 2 c. elbow macaroni
  • 3/4 c. mayonnaise
  • chopped onion
  • chopped pepper
  • chopped celery
  • shaved carrots
  • 1/4 tsp. celery seed

Step by step

  • Dissolve sugar in lemon juice.
  • Add mustard and mix well.
  • Whip in mayonnaise.
  • Mix all other ingredients in a large bowl and add mayonnaise mixture.
  • Chill.

For the whole salad, 22 points if low fat mayonnaise is used. Otherwise, 44 points.
