Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 6 ounce cans Hunts tomato paste
  • 1 8 ounce can Hunts tomato sauce
  • 1 4 pound 2 ounce jar Ragu tomato sauce
  • seasoned salt
  • seasoned pepper
  • garlic powder
  • celery seed

Step by step

  • Brown ground beef with onion.
  • Season with seasoned salt, seasoned pepper, garlic powder and celery seed.
  • Slowly add sauces and paste.
  • Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 60 minutes.
  • Stir every 15 minutes to avoid burning.
  • Serves 10.
