Peanut Butter Pie

Ingredients

  • 24 peanut butter cookies (e.g. Nutter Butters)
  • 5 tbsp. butter, melted
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla
  • 8 oz. cool whip, thawed

Step by step

  • Crush cookies and mix crumbs with butter.
  • Press onto bottom and sides of 9-inch pie plate.
  • Mix cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
  • Gently stir in 1 1/2 c. cool whip.
  • Spoon into crust.
  • Freeze 4 hours or overnight until firm.
  • Let stand 30 minutes or until easily cut.
  • Garnish with remaining cool whip and additional cookies, if desired.
  • Before serving, drizzle chocolate syrup on plates.
  • Serves 8.
