Seasoned potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. olive oil
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tbsp. gravy seasoning
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • potatoes, chunked (approx. 2 lbs.)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • paprika
  • 1 onion, peeled and quartered

Step by step

  • Combine oil, water, gravy seasoning and bouillon cubes in bottom of cold frying pan.
  • Turn on heat to pan.
  • Season potatoes with salt, pepper and paprika.
  • Add potatoes to pan and bring to a boil.
  • Cover and reduce heat to a simmer.
  • After 30 minutes, turn potatoes over and add onions.
  • Periodically add water as needed to maintain liquid level.
  • Cook another 15-30 minutes until potatoes are fork tender.
