Surprise cookies

Ingredients

• 3 c. flour
• 1 c. sugar
• 1/2 c. brown sugar
• 1 c. butter
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 2 tbsp. water
• chocolate

Step by step

• Preheat oven to 375°F.
• Cream butter well.
• Reserving chocolate, mix all other ingredients and beat well.
• Cover and refrigerate at least two hours.
• Enclose a small piece of chocolate in about 1 tbsp. of chilled dough.
• Spread 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet.
• Bake for about 12 minutes.
